FACT allows inspection teams to receive a modest lunch provided by the applicant and other refreshments during the inspection. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted during the inspection day.

 

Inspectors are discouraged from accepting other invitations of entertainment from the facility. Although such offers of hospitality are appreciated, it can be difficult and uncomfortable for all parties to spend an evening with personnel after an inspection has raised concerns. Expenses for other meals during the on-site visit are covered by FACT.
